We work to help keep the Jewish community of Hawaii safe, healthy, and connected.

We support our community by:

• Providing resources and assistance to people in urgent and crisis situations

• Connecting new and existing Hawaii residents to community and social activities

• Communicating with Jewish organizations statewide for collaborations and opportunities that come our way

What We Do

Volunteering

Use your mitzvah motivation to call a socially isolated senior, deliver food to a disabled adult, do arts and crafts during a keiki event, accompany someone to a doctor’s appointment, stuff envelopes for one of our fundraising mailers, and more. Let us know a skill you have that we haven’t thought of yet!

Calendar of Jewish Happenings Throughout the Islands

Every Jewish organization in the state has access to post their events on this calendar. Check it out by island.  Show up to dance, pray, read, learn, or join something unexpected and totally new to you.

Welcome Wagon

Moving to Hawaii is exciting, and any move is overwhelming and disorienting – even with palm trees and beautiful beaches. Though Hawaii doesn’t have a Jewish neighborhood, or other traditional markings of Jewish life, we do have a wonderful community, congregations, and a growing social scene for any age.

We point you in the right direction for your personal brand of Jewish.

Support JCS of Hawaii with a Donation of your Money or Time!

Every penny we receive counts, and is used. We have almost no overhead at this point in our evolution as many of our staff work remotely throughout the islands.

Your donations go straight to support our clients and to help pay our staff for their work with clients. It’s simple.
