There is a long history of social services being provided to Jewish residents of Hawaii. This culminated in 1991 with the formalization of Jewish Community Services as a program of the Jewish Federation of Hawaii. When the Federation closed its doors in 1998, the need for social services still existed.
Therefore, in 1998, Jewish Community Services (JCS) was incorporated as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) agency; serving the Jewish community in Hawaii. The generous support of the community enables JCS to continue to provide these services.
Jewish Community Services of Hawaii is a nonprofit organization and all contributions are tax deductible.
