Memory Cafes

Memory Cafes are based on a national model of fun, active and non-stigmatizing gatherings for anyone concerned about memory issues and their caregivers. Cafes may include games, dance, singing, arts and crafts or just talk story. Group leaders are trained to run the cafes and assure a feeling of aloha for all.

Contact us to find out if one is happening on your island!

Mālama Village - Oahu

JCSH helped launch a national model of aging in community to Hawaii – Mālama Village. This membership-based community includes social activities, volunteer exchange of services, transportation assistance, help with resources, and so much more. It’s a community, not a building, and for people who want to age in community with passion, fun and purpose!

Contact them to learn more, attend an orientation, and become a member.
