U H Manoa History Forum with Dr. Justyna Matkowska, Fellow, U S Holocaust Memorial Museum

Dr. Matkowska will share her scholarship on Roma and Sinti resistance and escape attempts at the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp complex in Poland. Dr. Matkowska's research includes genocide and resistance in Roma and Sinti histories, as well as race, ethnicity, memory and representation.
