Mimi Lind, LCSW, Executive Director, Clinician

Read Bio

Mimi is kama’aina and grew up at Temple Emanu-El. After attending college (Brandeis University),  receiving her MSW, and working at a UCLA community health care clinic,  she returned home to be JCSH’ first Executive Director and staff clinician. Mimi is a licensed psychotherapist/clinical social worker, with specialties in working with domestic violence, substance abuse and trauma across all stages of the life cycle.

Tonya Martin, Operations Manager

Originally from the Midwest, Tonya is a Purdue University graduate who moved to Hawaii from Italy and Germany while her husband finished his military service there. Now living on Oahu, you will find her at her daughter's soccer matches or at the beach. With interests in accounting and administration, she loves seeing firsthand the positive impact JCSH has on the community.    

Raquel Glassman, Community Care Manager - East Hawaii

Raquel has many years of experience on both Oahu and Hawaii island as a crisis counselor, case manager, care coordinator, and teacher. She has also been a wellness counselor and personal coach, and loves integrating music and community into her work. Her practices are rooted in Jewish spirituality and values; she loves being part of the Hawaii Jewish community.

Aiko Lindsey, Community Care Manager - Maui/Moloka'i

Aiko has deep roots in Hawai`i, and a passion for tikkun olam.  She is thrilled to be settled in Maui via the Big Island, Alaska, France and O`ahu. She brings a wide variety of experience in social services to JCSH, and is excited to work in the jewish community to honor her Jewish and mixed heritage. In her free time you will find her in the ocean, with her many pets and animals,  or amongst `ohana.

Kamala Trotter, Community Care Manager - Oahu

A kama’aina who returned home after 18 years away, Kamala has extensive experience in providing case management and mental health services, and a background in nursing.  Having worked with Native American tribes, she is interested in culture and travel, and has enjoyed working with the Jewish community here. Kamala loves the outdoors, movies, fitness, and attending the symphony. 

Dale Rosenfeld, Community Care Manager - Kaua'i/Lana'i

Read Bio

Dale has lived on Kaua`i for over 35 years, originally from New York/New Jersey. A former Special Ed teacher, she remains involved in the business community and in many non-profit organizations. For 25 years in Hawai`i she owned and operated a horseback riding business, including a children’s program. Dale is part of the thriving Jewish community of Kaua’i - learning, growing, and sharing her knowledge. She loves to hike and paint watercolor landscapes.

Jennifer Schwarz, Community Care Manager - West Hawaii

Jen moved to West Hawaii from the Pacific Northwest 21 years ago. She has spent years balancing her social services work with her passion for fine woodwork and nature. She is passionate about advocating for individuals and families to live fulfilling lives, as they themselves define it. Jen is excited to bring her heart and skills to the community of West Hawaii. 

Elycia Fine, Volunteer Coordinator

Elycia combines her expertise in communications and marketing with her passion for serving the community in her role as Volunteer Coordinator. She is active at Temple Emanu El and guided by the concept of l’dor v’dor. She was a longtime volunteer at JCSH before joining the staff. She loves spending time with her family and pets on Oahu where she has lived for many years.

Claire Link, Fund Development Director

Read Bio

Claire has spent the past decade working in the Hawaii nonprofit sector as both an administrator and fundraising professional. She most recently worked at Make-A-Wish Hawaii, and worked at JCSH for 7 years before that. She is honored to serve as our first Fund Development Director and is proud to support the essential services JCSH provides to the community. After living abroad in Palau and Australia, Claire and her husband made Hawai‘i their home in 2000, where they raised their daughter.

Debra DiPietro, Communications Consultant

Read Bio

Debbie holds a B.A. in Communications from Oklahoma State University and a J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She grew up on Oahu, where she and her family were active members of Temple Emanu-El from 1970 to 1982. A published author and blogger, Debbie currently lives in Jacksonville, Florida. In addition to her full-time role in communications and digital media, she has supported numerous freelance clients with their website and marketing needs. Debbie is excited to once again being connected to the diverse Jewish community of Hawaii!

Harvey Gordon, Technology Consultant

Read Bio

Harvey was born in England and moved to Sydney Australia in his twenties. He came to Hawaii in 2013 to make a new life with his wife Jill, and they attended Oahu Jewish Ohana. Harvey also served as a JCSH board member and now lends his expertise in technology to JCSH. Now retired, Harvey lives in San Diego and assists with website development and other technology related matters.

Steven Caroco, Consulting Accountant

As a finance executive and consultant with over thirty years of experience Steven helps businesses grow which is crucial as JCSH expands. He moved here with his family from Los Angeles during the COVID pandemic, and is active at Temple Emanu El.  Steve loves scuba diving, fitness and motorcycles.
