Mental Health Support
We can help you connect with a therapist that takes your insurance and feels like the right match for you (which may take some time here in Hawaii).
Finding a good therapist can take some time, so we will support you along the way.

Crisis Intervention
While life stressors are a normal part of life, we are not always ready for them. This can happen to anyone, at any time. Sudden changes, losses, and/or unexpected events can impact your usual coping skills because you suddenly feel anxious or depressed, or both.
JCSH staff will assess your situation, and work with you to find the help you need. We can provide some crisis counseling to help through those hard times.

Support Groups
We offer support specifically for seniors. We often have support groups for caregivers, grief groups, a social group on Zoom, and more.
We also have clubs open to everyone. See “Gatherings and Fun” to see what’s happening or contact your island specific care manager to talk about the options that are right for you.
