Better Together in a Box
Hanukkah Program
You are cordially invited to our 1st
Better Together in a Box program
on November 21st from 12:30-2pm
at Temple Emanu-El
Has the past year left you feeling boxed-in and missing the simple yet meaningful moments with the keiki at Temple? Please join us in thinking outside the box at Temple Emanu-El this Fall!
We're very excited to announce the first session of Better Together in a Box at Temple Emanu-El!
Teens and Seniors will meet for this Hanukkah program on November 21st at 12:30pm. We're looking for at least five Senior participants for the program.
On November 21st, we'll be making Hanukkah candles together, while discussing Hanukkah memories across the generations.
Better Together in a Box is a special short-term program from a well-respected national foundation designed to encourage meaningful interaction between Teens and Seniors through in person and virtual programming. We have brought it here to kickstart intergenerational activities in our Jewish community, and we need you to make it a success! This initiative is entirely FREE OF CHARGE to participants and led by morim Erica Westmoreland and David Plona, along with Rachel Garcia. The program will continue for the next 5 months. Please stay tuned for more programming details throughout the Winter and Spring.
